Since our founding in the Fukagawa district of Tokyo in 1915, Sugita Wire has supported manufacturing industries broadly as a specialized manufacturer of specialty steel wire for over a century.
Our steel wire is used as a material for critical components related to safety and performance across a wide range of fields, including automotive, construction machinery, precision parts, and other industrial equipment.
Our mission is not to pursue flashy technology, but to deliver “high-quality steel wire that is easy to use for our customers” through steady, persistent effort. We believe that by continuing this approach, we first build relationships of trust with our customers, and that maintaining and continuously improving those relationships leads to the long-term growth of our company. We also place the “spirit of Wa (harmony)” at the core of our management philosophy. We believe that by drawing on the strengths of each individual, respecting our differences, and working together toward common goals, we create strength as an organization. While pursuing the material and spiritual well-being of our employees, we aim to remain a flexible company capable of adapting to the changing times.

Sugita Wire has walked alongside our customers from our founding, through Japan’s period of rapid economic growth, to the present day. Throughout the years, as we have carefully responded to the diverse needs of our customers, what we have held most dear are “relationships of trust with our customers” and “careful, conscientious manufacturing.” We are truly grateful to receive such recognition from our customers for these efforts, and we wish to express our sincere appreciation once again. At the same time, we owe our ability to contribute to the development of the wire secondary processing industry as a pioneer in the field entirely to the unwavering support of our business partners and all those involved. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude once again. On February 1, 2026, Sugita Wire embarked on a new chapter toward the next hundred years under new leadership. We will continue to press forward as a company that supports society through the power of materials, earning the continued trust of our customers.
